Wayne L. McHenry, 78, of 214 Park Lane, Hegins. passed away Monday, March 12th, 2007 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel of Lebanon for 19 years. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins. He was involved with the Hegins Fire Company and the Hegins Park Association. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian L (Herb) McHenry. He is survived by his children Lois and David and their spouses and by three grandsons Adam, Ryan, and Patrick. Graveside services were held at Friedens Cemetery, Hegins, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21st, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friedens Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 375, Hegins, PA 17938. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
