Wayne L "Bud" Wolfgang , age 83, of 153 Koons Road, Millersburg, formerly of Hegins, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 17, 2010 at Pinnacle Health Community General Hospital, Harrisburg. He was born on Thursday, June 10, 1926, in Hubley Twp, a son of the late David L Wolfgang and the late Carrie M (Schlegel) Wolfgang . He was a 1944 graduate of the former Hubley Twp High School. He served in the Army during World War II. He retired as a machine operator for the former AMP Corp., Harrisburg, He was of the Protestant Faith. He enjoyed gardening and his dog Abbie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty M (Klinger) Wolfgang, in 2001, He was also preceded in death by two brothers Ernest L Wolfgang and Kenneth L Wolfgang. He is survived by three sisters Mae A Walkinshaw of Williamstown, Helen K Snyder of Dornsife, and Phyllis K Bixler of Joliet; a companion Hannah Klinger of Halifax; and several nieces and nephews Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Friday, May 21, 2010, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Claude Schach officiating. A viewing was held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
