Warren Seth Neye, age 79, of 137 Red Fox Lane, Phoenixville, formerly of Valley View, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the Phoenixville Hospital. He was born on Wednesday, August 13, 1930, in Valley View, a son of the late Arthur Neye and Gertie (Hepler) Neye. He was a 1948 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School . He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He had worked for Mohasco Industries and Conrail. He was of the Protestant Faith. Warren enjoyed, flea markets, harness racing, gardening, and cooking. He was preceded in death a brother Vere F Neye. He is survived by four sisters Iris "Peggy" O DiGuiseppe of Royersford, Rita I Smith of Phoenixville, Anna Mae Roof of Lewisberry, and Jaeannette E Klinger of Valley View; four brothers Carl D Neye of Montoursville, Ray A Neye of Brookhaven, Jay J Neye of Hegins, and Larry D Neye of Phoenixville; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing was held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
