Walter Kenneth Hager, age 83, of 522 E Main Street, Apt 2, Hegins, formerly of Hatfield, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson, Pottsville. He was born on Friday, July 20, 1928, in Doylestown, a son of the late Walter F and Stella M Hager. He was a graduate of Doylestown High School . He was employed by the North Wales Water Authority, Montgomery County, until his retirement. Ken enjoyed country western music and had performed in the band Kenny Hager and the Westernaires. He also enjoyed horses. He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Hager and a sister Marie Dover. He is survived by a daughter Antoinette M Tobin and her husband Scott of Hegins, two granddaughters Asya M Cigic and Haylee B Zartman both of Hegins; a grandson Robert J Bainbridge, Jr, serving in the US Army in Afghanistan; and four great grandsons.
