Click here to view the Video Tribute for Vera Vera M. Miller, age 81, of 103 Wood Lane, Hegins, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Saturday, September 25, 1926 in Spring Glen, a daughter of the late Harry Dietrich and the late Vernie (Shadle) Dietrich. She was a 1944 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School . She had been employed by the Twin Valley Farmers Exchange and the former Quaker State Farms prior to her retirement. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She was preceded in death by three brothers George, Bill, and Russell Dietrich and four sisters Verna Dietrich, Maud Ebert, Hannah Maurer, and Sarah Morgan. She is survived by her husband, Harold M Miller, to whom she was married for 62 years. She is also survived by three sons, Bruce H Miller and his wife, Amy of Hegins, William M Miller and his wife, Tina of Hegins, and Ronald L Miller of Hegins; a daughter, Jane L Tietsworth and her husband, Ed of Hegins; nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, two brothers Daniel W Dietrich of Spring Glen and Ray A Dietrich; and a sister Mary C Dietrich of West Chester. Services were held at the convenience of the family at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
