Timothy L. Klinger, age 82, of 140 Pine Drive Hegins, died Friday, January 27,2006 at his home. He was born in Weiseample, on April 23, 1923, a son of the late Grant and Cora (Neumeister) Klinger. He retired as a coal miner for Kocher Coal Company of Valley View, Pa. He was a member of the Hegins Fire Company. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins. Surviving are his wife Alice (Bixler) Klinger to whom he was married for 58 years. Surviving in addition to his wife are seven daughters Linda Hopkins, Wickensburg, Arizona, Ruth Murray, Middletown, Nancy Carl, Hegins, Marie Mortensen, Lykens, Trudy Molnar, Hegins, Susan Kramer, Wiconisco, and Patricia Williams, Valley View; one son Timothy L. Klinger Jr., Dauphin; one sister Esther Roby, Austin Texas; 24 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Paul Klinger Services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins, with Rev. William Danis officiating. A viewing was held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
