Thomas L Huntzinger, age 57, of W Main St, Valley View, died Monday, August 30, 2004, at his home. He was born on March 17, 1947, in Pottsville, a son of the late Wayne A. and Sarah L (Herb) Huntzinger. He was a 1965 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. He was an Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins. He was a member and past Commander of VFW Post 8237, Valley View; a member of American Legion Post 575, Valley View; the Hegins and Valley View Fire Companies; and the Valley View Gun Club. Surviving are a son Brian T Huntzinger of Pitman; a daughter Tracy L Vance of Valley View; two grandsons Hunter J Vance of Valley View and Reece H. Huntzinger of Pitman; two sisters Ann M Grose of Secane, Pa and Kim D. Miller of Valley View. Funeral services were held at 11 A.M. on Friday, Sept 3, 2004, at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 W Main St, Valley View, Pa, with the Rev. William Danis officiating. Relatives and friends were received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. on Friday. Burial with Military Honors was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
