Theodore L "Teddy" Klouser, age 79, of Hegins, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Schuylkill Medical Center- East, Pottsville.

He was born on Saturday, November 7, 1936, in Hegins, a son of the late Arthur Klouser and the late Agnes Bixler Klouser.

He was a 1954 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.

He was a machinist at the former Hegins Precision Division of Penn Reel, prior to his retirement.

He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins.

He was also a member of life member of the NRA.

Teddy enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Arthur Klouser, Herman Klouser, and Jack Klouser; four sisters, Pearl Bressler, Dorothy Klinger, Jean Rinda, and Nancy Starr; and by an infant sister, Ruby Klouser.

He is survived by two sisters, Helen Kessler of Hegins and Kay Harner of Valley View; a nephew, with whom he resided, Kevin Harner of Hegins; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at 11:00 am.

A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
