Theodore W. Shadle, Jr., age 70, of 509 Pine Drive, Sacramento, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008, in Lykens Twp, Dauphin County. He was born on Wednesday, May 26, 1937 in Ashland, a son of the late Theodore W. Shadle, Sr. and the late Margaret (Weinreich) Shadle Paul. He was a 1955 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. He retired as a forman for the former Johnson Bailee Shoe Co., Millersburg. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his companion, Sandra L Bedleyoung of Sacramento; four daughters, Cheryl A Fetterolf of Hegins, Debora K Stutzman of Valley View, Roxane L Artz of Hegins, and Paula R Schadel of Gratz; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Dennis C Shadle of Marlboro, MD. Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Philip Sabas officiating. Burial was made in Fountain Community Cemetery, Fountain.
