Stutzman, age 85, of 412 W Main Street, Valley View, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. She was born on Sunday, May 7, 1922 in Fearnot, a daughter of the late Earl Mayer Sr. and the late Hulda (Dieter) Mayer. She was a graduate of the former Hubley Twp High School. She was a self employed beautician until her retirement. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar A Stutzman, who passed away in 1966. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Craig R Wetzel in 2003; a brother Earl Mayer, Jr., and a step brother Robert Mayer. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra J McCullough of Valley View and Sharon L Wetzel and her husband, Larry of Valley View; a grandson, Alvin L Wetzel of Valley View; a great granddaughter, Arielle Wetzel of Millersburg; a brother, Russell Schade of Valley View; two sisters, Corrine Wolfgang of Millersburg and Gloria Stoudt of Allentown; three step sister, Mary Stehr of Valley View, Violet Harris of Dornsife, and Joyce Wolfe of Berrysburg. Services were held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Philip Sabas officiating. Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Sacramento. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
