Stanford "Stan" E. Neidlinger , age 87, of Newport, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Harrisburg, Hospital. He was born on Wednesday, January 13, 1926, in Newtown, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Goldie (Boyer) Neidlinger. Stan was self-employed working as a contractor. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and going to camp. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Joseph, Walter, Charles, William, and Harold Neidlinger. He is survived by his fiancé - Marilyn Swales of Newport, PA; son - Stanford E. Neidlinger Jr. of Decatur, IL; 3 daughters - Nancy Protivnak and her husband Michael, of Valley View, PA, Lorelie Lee and her husband Bill of Decatur, IL, Susan Tetley of Decatur, IL; 7 grandchild, 7 great-grandchild and one brother - Henry Neidlinger of Sumerville, NJ.
