Shirley D Rissinger, age 84, of Sacramento, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

She was born on Tuesday, March 22, 1932, in Hubley Twp, daughter of the late Harry D Deibert and the late Ruth Stutzman Deibert.

She was laundry manager at Rest Haven, Schuylkill Haven, prior to her retirement.

An active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, she was a long time member of the church choir.

Shirley was also a member of the Gratz Historical Society, Schuylkill County Retirees Club, and a former member of the Sacramento Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by three sons, Michael A Rissinger of Philadelphia, John J Rissinger, IV of Harrisburg, and Harry D Rissinger of Sacramento; three daughters, Cynthia L Klinger and her husband Larry of Hegins, Patricia L Rissinger of Minneapolis, MN, and Suzanne L Reblock and her husband John of Hegins; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Lee Deibert of Sacramento and Dean Deibert of Gratz; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Raymond Holland and Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 2300 Main Street, Sacramento PA 17968.
