Scott David Doyle, age 55, of 215 W Main Street, Hegins, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center. He was born on Sunday, December 26, 1954, in Harrisburg, a son of the late James Doyle and Grace (Long) Doyle. He was a graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Phillips -Van Heusen, Schuylkill Haven until becoming ill. He was of the Protestant Faith. He loved trucking and hunting. Scott was a true "jack of all trades" He was a member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife Susan M (Herb) Doyle, to whom he was married for 27 years. He is also survived by a son Sean P Doyle and his wife Stephanie of Hegins; a stepson Kenneth M Morgan and his wife Christina of Klingerstown; grandchildren Megan, Kenny, Ashley, Katelyn and Jacob; three brothers James Doyle of New Hampshire, Joseph Doyle of Milton, and Jeffrey Doyle of New Jersey; and a sister Merri Dorman of Halifax. Memorial services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. Visitation was held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
