Ruth M. Stehr, 84, of Deep Creek Road, Valley View passed away Sunday, May 10th at the Harrisburg Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Sacramento, July 7, 1924 a daughter of the late Irvin and Annie Clark Kimmel. She graduated from the former Hubley Twp. High School. She was the retired owner of Stehr's General Store, Sacramento. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento. In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by her husband, Leon, 1977; a son Timothy, brother Harold Kimmel and a sister, Evelyn Wiest Klinger. Surviving are her children, Gerald D. Stehr and his wife, Nancy, Lebanon; James L. Stehr and his wife Debbie, Sacramento; Karen L. Zapotosky and her husband Joe, Duncannon and Cathy A. Matter and her husband Gil, Williamstown. 10 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nepehws. Memorial services were held Saturday, May 23rd, at 11:00 am from St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento with Rev. Raymond Holland. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
