Ruth Irene Moyer, age 72, of the Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, formerly of Valley View and Halifax, died Monday, April 25th, 2005 at the Village She was born in Valley View, Pa on April 17, 1933, a daughter of the late Synary O. and Alice A. (Eby) Koons. She worked as a housekeeper for several area residents before retiring. She was a member of St. Andrew's U.M. Church, Valley View. She was the widow of Ivan Moyer. She is survived by a brother Clair V. Koons, Hegins, Pa. She was preceded in death by a sister and six brothers. Funeral services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, Pa. at 11 A.M. on Thursday, April 28th, with Rev. George Reynolds officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial was be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
