TO View the Memorial Video Click Here Ruth Naomi Kimmel , age 84, of Hegins, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Schuylkill Medical Center- E Norwegian St., Pottsville. She was born on Tuesday, April 10, 1928, in Valley View, PA, a daughter of the late William and Beata (Ebert) Klinger. Ruth was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School in 1945. She worked as a housekeeper and was a supervisor in the garment industry. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of the church council. She was also a member of two card clubs, a trivia club, Tri-Valley Senior Citizens, Hegins Fire Company Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, and WELCA. Ruth enjoyed gardening, puzzles, trivia, reading, playing cards and traveling abroad and with the Tri-Valley Senior group. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward C. Kimmel who died July 3, 1993 and one brother Arthur Klinger. She is survived by two Sons Randall E Kimmel of Hegins, and Clair K Kimmel of Hales Corners, Wisconsin; a daughter Judy A Kimmel of Spring Glen; a brother Richard L Klinger of Madison, Wisconsin; two sisters Anna Snyder of Reading and Alice Angino of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; and three nieces and seven nephews. Memorial Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Sunday July 29, 2012 at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. Burial will be made in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association 1019 Mumma Road Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
