Ruby J. Smallwood , age 51, of Manor Care, Pottsville, formerly of Coal Twp, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Schuylkill Medical Center- S. Jackson, Pottsville. She was born on Wednesday, August 24, 1960, in Barry Twp, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Carl Kessler. She was a 1979 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School. She is survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no services. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
