Ruby H. Hepler, of Hegins, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026 in Tower City.

She was born on November 1, 1929, a daughter of the late William Schreffler and Jennie (Houck) Schreffler.

She was a member of St. James Church, Pitman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 year, Raymond Ralph Hepler and her sister, Anna Schreffler.

She is survived by her son, Lyndon Hepler and his wife, Dianne; her daughter, Debra Bair and her husband, David; four grandchildren: Deidre Hess, Matthew Hepler, Kyle Bair, and Kendra Stutzman; three great grandchildren: Huck Hepler, Wiley Hepler and Aspen Bair; and two brothers, Marline Schreffler and Russell Schreffler.

Funeral services will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, Pitman, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the church.

A graveside service will be held at Zion EC Cemetery, Pitman, following funeral services.
