Roy D Williard, age 92, of Hegins, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

He was born on Thursday, August 16, 1923, in Red Cross, a son of the late David Williard and the late Beulah Bobb Williard.

He was the owner and operator of the former Williard's Auto Parts.

He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins.

He was also a member of the Honeymoon Investment Club. Roy enjoyed card parties and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by a brother, Guy "Sammy" Williard.

He is survived by his wife Betty G Kehler Williard, to whom he was married for 50 years.

He is also survived by five daughters, Linda Buckwalter and her husband Jerry of New Cumberland, Donna Tawney of York, Darlene Klouser of Hegins, Patsy Miller and her husband Larry of Valley View, Ruth Fetterolf and her husband James of Weishample; four sons, David Williard of Washington, DC, Joel Williard and his wife Joanne of Mar Lin, Harold "Chol" Maurer and his wife Mary of Bernville, David Maurer and his wife Jennifer of Valley View; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren; a brother, Clair Williard of Herndon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins, on Monday, February 15, 2016, at 11:00 am, with Rev. William Danis officiating.

A viewing was held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the church.

Burial was made in Zion Cemetery, Pitman.
