Obituary
Roy V Atemboski, age 77, of 2142 E Main Street, Valley View, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on Saturday, December 5, 1936, in Buckley,WA, a son of the late Albin Atemboski and Karin M Broo Atemboski.
He was a 1954 graduate of the former Buckley High School, Buckley WA.
He owned and operated a barber shop in Bothell WA for many years, and then was a machinist for Boeing Aircraft, Renton, WA, until his retirement.
He was a member of the Sacramento Fire Company, and was a former member and president of the Bothell Washington Lions Club.
Roy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
His wife Marilyn I Mumford Atemboski passed away in 2005. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Roy V Atemboski, Jr; and by two sisters Eugenia Dukowitz and Arlene Barber.
He is survived by a son Alan R Atemboski and his wife Christine of Renton, WA; two daughters Virginia I Norris and her husband James of Granbury, TX and Karin L Rissinger and her husband Charles of Valley View; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister Joann Clarke of Seattle, WA; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Molly.
Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
A viewing was held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial was made at the convenience of the family in Buckley Cemetery, Buckley, WA
