Rosemary Frances Harman, age 73, of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, formerly of Valley View, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007 at The Manor. She was born on Thursday, October 18, 1934 in Branchdale, a daughter of the late Daniel Ganley and the late Lucinda (Gottshall) Ganley. She was a graduate of the former Mary Star of the Sea Catholic School, Branchdale. She was a seamstress for the former Amy Sportswear, Valley View . She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. She was preceded in death by a grandson Clinton Harman. She is survived by her husband, Larry C Harman, of Pottsville, to whom she was married for 54 years. She is also survived by a daughter, Jean A Kissinger of Lykens; three sons, Gerald D Harman of Hegins, Mark J Harman of Hegins, and Landis C Harman of Tower City; a brother, Joseph Ganley of Tremont; four sisters, Catherine Moore of Pottsville, Margaret O'Brien of New York NY, Tresanne Gleason of Primrose, and Virginia Bishop of Petersburg, VA; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home Valley View, on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. A viewing was held Sunday, December 23 from Noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was made at the convenience of the family in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
