Ronald M Jones, age 85, of Ridge Road, Klingerstown, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - E Norwegian, Pottsville.

He was born on Monday, July 18, 1938, in Pitman, a son of the late John C Jones and the late Viola (Kline) Jones.

He was a 1957 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.

Ronald was a truck driver, farmer, worked at the former Spread Eagle Farms, Klingerstown, and retired from Penn Dye, Pine Grove .

He was a member of Salem Church of Rough and Ready.

He was also a member of the Pitman and Klingerstown Fire Companies.

Ronald enjoyed traveling, working on the farm, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by a brother, Harold Jones, and three sisters, Arlene Clark, Marie Snyder, and Velma Zartman.

He is survived by his wife Dolores M (Snyder) Jones, to whom he was married for 65 years.

He is also survived by a son, Stephen R Jones of Klingerstown; a brother, Mark Jones of Sunbury; a sister, Joyce Kahler of Selinsgrove; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Rough and Ready.
