Click here to view the Video Tribute for Ronnie. Ronald "Ronnie" Harold Bloch, age 54, of 296 Hill Road, Hegins, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on Monday, November 4, 1957, in Ashland, a son of the late Harold E and Alma A Koch Bloch. He was a 1975 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. He was a chipper grinder for Ashland Foundry and Machine Works Inc. He was of the Protestant Faith. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union. Ronnie enjoyed building street rods, going to car shows, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Donna L (Richards) Bloch, to whom he was married for 13 years. He is also survived by a son Adam L Bloch of Hegins; three daughters Stephanie L Reho and her husband Steve of Valley View, Jamie A Long and her husband Jerry of Herndon, Jennifer A Bloch and her fiancée Ricky Spriggle of Selinsgrove; two step sons Rahn A Richards of Pine Grove and Jeremy D Richards and his wife Amanda of Valley View; seventeen grandchildren; a brother Ricky Bloch of Hegins; a sister Janice Neumeister of Ashland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View. Condolences can be left for the family at www.buffingtonreed.com .
