Robert L Hoffman, age 90, of Hegins, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at the home of his daughter in Hegins.

He was born on Friday, October 19, 1928, in Spring Glen, a son of the late Carlos Hoffman and the late Margaret Hoover Hoffman.

Bob was a breaker foreman for Blaschak Coal Corp, Ravine, prior to his retirement.

He was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove.

Bob was also a member of the Paradise Valley Hunting Club, Pine Grove. He enjoyed yard work and maintaining his home.

His wife, Reba Daubert Hoffman, passed away in 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Amanda Barry; and two sisters, June Daubert and Betty Lenker.

He is survived by two daughters, Suzann M Barry and her husband Steven of Hegins and Sandra L Strickler and her husband Bryan of York Springs; a son, Kevin C Hoffman and his wife Marie of Pine Grove; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Richard Hoffman officiating.

A viewing was held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the church.

Burial was made in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.
