Robert C "Bobby" Wiest, age 57, of 479 Picnic Road, Lykens, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from injuries sustained in a truck accident in Virginia. He was born on Thursday, March 12, 1953, in Elizabethville, a son of the late Roy A Wiest and Dorothy M (Harner) Wiest. He was a truck driver for YRC Trucking, Carlisle. He was a member of Teamsters Local 776, Gratz VFW Post 2385, Sons of Italy of Renovo, Sandy Run Property Owners Assoc, and the Erdman Sportsman's Association. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Wiest. He is survived by his wife Sharon L Daniels; three sons Michael Enders and his wife Tara of Halifax, Rob Enders of Halifax, Isaiah Daniels, Jr of Gratz; three daughters Amber Yerger and her husband Dennis of Gratz, Amy Daniels of Boston, MA, and Amanda Hileman of Gratz; five grandchildren; four brothers Delmar D Wiest of Wiconisco, Alfred A Wiest and his wife Karen of Elizabethville, Roy L Wiest, Sr and his wife Judy of Elizabethville, and Ronald L Wiest of Gratz; two sisters Alice Morgan of Valley View and Barbara Bowman and her husband Randy of Klingerstown. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Monday, November 22, 2010, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Claude Schach officiating. A viewing was held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Burial was made in St. Peter's Cemetery, Fearnot.
