Robert Bohner

Robert Ray "Bobby" Bohner, age 59, of Montgomery, passed away Saturday November 8, 2014 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center, Williamsport.

He was born on October 26, 1955 in Harrisburg, PA, a son of Herbert Bohner of Valley View and the late Marian (Hatter) Bohner.

He was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and also graduated from Penn College with an Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering.

He served with the US Army and was stationed in Germany.

Bobby will be remembered as a Jack of All trades, he was most recently employed as a Commercial Truck Driver for Vieriah Trucking.

He enjoyed collecting guns and was a member of the VFW in Muncy, PA.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie (Eichenlaub) Bohner, to whom he was married for 11 years.

He is also survived by one daughter, Kathi Shaw and her husband Tom of Harrisburg; 3 grandchildren, Hope, Amanda and Ryan Shaw; a step-daughter Elizabeth Sherwood of Montgomery; two sisters, Peggy Falgoust and her husband Mark of Hegins and Sheri Faust and her husband Duane of Hegins; one brother, Rodney Bohner and his wife Karen of NC,

Services were held at Friedens United Church of Christ Hegins, on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael C Klahr officiating.

A viewing was held 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home.

Burial with Military Honors was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
