Obituary
Robert L Adams, age 88, of Valley View, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont.
He was born on Wednesday, November 30, 1927, in Hegins, a son of the late Alvin Adams and the late Althesta Fetterolf Adams.
He served in the US Army during World War II.
He was a machinist for Pressure Products, Hatboro, Fisher and Porter, Warminster, and was manager at Balimoy, Inc, Venice, FL, prior to his retirement.
He was of the Protestant Faith.
He was a member of VFW Post 8237, Valley View.
Bob enjoyed golfing, gardening, and lawn care.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by a son, Gary K Adams; and by three brothers Bernard Adams, William Adams, and Leonard Adams.
He is survived by his wife Norma J Kehler Adams, to whom he was married for 68 years.
He is also survived by two daughters, Debra J Weiss and her husband Charles of Williamsburg, VA and Patricia A Erb and her husband Richard of Warminster; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating.
A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial with Military Honors was made in St. John's Cemetery, Hegins.
