Obituary

Randy E Wenrich, age 58, of 8741 Rt 25, Spring Glen, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Lykens Twp, Dauphin County. He was born on Saturday, May 1, 1954, in Lykens, a son of Whalen E Wenrich, Sr. and Anna M Kissinger Wenrich of Spring Glen. He was a 1973 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School. He was a partner in the former Wenrich Coal Company. He was a tile setter for the former Interstate Tile and Mantel, Harrisburg. He was a member and past president of the Erdman Sportsman's Association. He was also a member of the Spruce Spring Camp of Mifflin County,the Valley View Gun Club, VFW Post 8237 Valley View, and the Upper Dauphin Dart League. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by a brother, David E Wenrich. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years Margaret M (Scheib) Wenrich. Surviving in addition to his parents and his wife are a son Randy E Wenrich, Jr of Spring Glen; a daughter Hilary M Wenrich of Gratz; a grandson Memphis J Burke of Gratz; three brothers Richard "Dick" L Wenrich of Sacramento, Whalen "Pete" E Wenrich, Jr of Herndon, Lynn L Wenrich of Valley View; two sisters Lori A Belack of Gratz and Tammy S Wenrich of Potter County; and many nieces and nephews. Private services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. Condolences can be left for the family at www.buffingtonreed.com .
