Phyllis L Headdings, age 78, of 1348 W Maple St, Valley View, died Monday, July 24th, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Gratz, on May 13, 1928, a daughter of the late Homer and Mary (Schaffer) Scheib. She retried as a seamstress from the former Philmark Mfg. Co., Valley View. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. She is survived by her husband Darvin P Headdings, to whom she was married for 42 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sisters Eleanor Sallada, Valley View and Lois Miller, Millersburg; and three nieces Stacie Wheary, Rebecca Zemencik; and Alicia Nunemacher, and other nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26th, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating. A viewing was held from 6 to 7p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be made at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, Gratz.
