Phyllis Irene Coleman, age 76, of 348 Pine Drive, Hegins, died Sunday, Feb. 29. 2004, at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville, Pa. She was born in Hegins Twp, Pa, on July 15, 1927, a daughter of the late William and Goldie (Kimmel) Schwartz. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins, Pa. Her husband Robert L Coleman died in 2000. Surviving are a son Robert A. Coleman, of Delanson, N.Y.; two daughters Mary Bowman, of Valley View, Pa. and Judith Dardzinski of Cincinnati, Ohio; six brothers Irvin Schwartz of Hegins, Pa, Chester Schwartz of Hegins, Pa, Franklin Schwartz of Hegins, Pa, Richard Schwartz of Tremont, Pa, Theodore Schwartz of Hegins, Pa, and David Schwartz of Long Island, N.Y.; two sisters Gloria Kroh of Hegins, Pa. and Patricia Moyer of Millersburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, a great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Russell Schwartz and a sister Betty Reidinger. Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 5, 2004, at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 W Main St, Valley View, Pa, with the Rev. Claude Schach officiating. A viewing was held from Noon to 2:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins, Pa.
