Patricia Bucher, 77, of Gratz, passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2026. Born on the 4th of July 1949 to Bryant and Hilda (Herb) Klinger in Gratz, she spent her entire life in Upper Dauphin County.

She was a member of the Upper Dauphin Area Class of 1966.

Her family was always her priority. She was the beloved wife of Kevin Bucher for the past 44 years. She is the mother of Lance (Angie) Shaffer of Sterling, VA, Shelby (Lisa) Shaffer of Elizabethville, Krystal Bucher of Manheim, and Kevin "Butch" Bucher of Gratz. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and one great-grandson.

While she worked at numerous shoe and shirt factories throughout her early adult years, she most enjoyed working at Reed's Inn in Gratz on Saturday nights where she enjoyed serving and interacting with the local families of the area. Pat's proudest moments of her work were serving for twenty years as the Manager of the Gratz VFW Diamond Jubilee #2385 from 1995 through 2015. Her time serving and supporting the Veterans and social members of this organization in this capacity were the most rewarding of her life. In recent years, she often talked fondly about the many friends and memories she had from those years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryant and Hilda Klinger, and her brother Roland Klinger.

There will be no services or viewing.
