Naomi M. Schucker, age 93, of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, formerly of Hegins, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at The Manor. She was born on Thursday, August 10, 1916 in Hegins, a daughter of the late Charles Klouser and the late Katie (Smith) Klouser. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School . She retired from the former Philmark Mfg, Valley View. She was a member of Church of God, Valley View; where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent, and a former Bible School teacher. Naomi was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining people at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E Schucker. She was also preceded in death by six sisters Eva Knobel, Pearl Minnich, Helen Herb, Romie Kauffman, Oneida Morgan, and Ivah Herb; and four brothers Clyde, Herman, Vernon, and Robert Klouser. She is survived by a son, Terry L Schucker and his wife, Mary Ann of Pottsville; a granddaughter, Angela M Schucker of Pottsville; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at the Church of God, Valley View, on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gerald Frey officiating. A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. Burial was made in Church of God Cemetery, Valley View. Memorial contributions can be made to Church of God, 900 W Main Street, Valley View PA 17983.
