Nancy F (Hatzel) Bonomo, age 80, of Pitman, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on Tuesday, October 27, 1942, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ferne Hatzel.

She was the co owner of Pitman Motors.

Nancy loved animals, gardening, and camping.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her life partner, Alvin C Heim.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Birster of Horsham and Devorah "Denise" Bonomo of Pitman; ; two sons, Donald Bonomo, Jr of Shamokin and Daniel Bonomo of Leeland, NC; two grandsons, Wayne Birster, Jr, and Stanley Bonomo; two granddaughters, Vanessa Birster and Shannon Bonomo; seven great grandchildren, Brian, Jenna, Bella, Jackson, David, Matthew, and Shelby; a great great grandson, Greyson; a sister, Diane Finlan and her husband Jack of Pitman; several nieces, and nephews; and long time employee and dear friend, Carl Witmer and his wife Renee.

Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.

A viewing was held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
