Click here to view the Video Tribute for Myrna Myrna L Header, age 81, of 1001 Deep Creek Road, Ashland, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at her residence. She was born on Saturday, February 15, 1930, in Locust Gap, a daughter of the late Walter and Martha Edwards Neiswinter. She was a 1947 graduate of the former Conyngham Twp High School. She was a member of Barry Salem United Methodist Church, Weishample; where she was a member of the United Methodist Women's Missionary. She was a former member and president of the Barry PTA. Myrna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially family trips to Canada. She is survived by her husband Virden H Header, to whom she was married for 60 years. She is also survived by four daughters Jane L Fetterhoff and her husband Larry of Hegins, Alice M Strohecker and her husband Roger of Ashland, Cathy A Clouser and her husband Kevin of Ashland, and Bonnie J Duffy of Ashland; two sons James R Header and his wife Fay of New Bloomfield, and Earl D Header and his wife Mary of Ashland; eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Barry Salem United Methodist Church, Weishample, on Thursday, September 29, 2011, at 11:00 am, with Rev. John Wallace officiating. A viewing was held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View. A viewing was also held from 10 am to 11 am on Thursday at the church.
