Mitzi Rebecca Herb, age 61, of 923 E Main Street, Hegins, Pa, died unexpectedly Friday, November 12th, 2004 at Good Samaritan Reg. Med. Cen., Pottsville, Pa . She was born in Ashland, Pa. on October 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Roy E and Florence A (Reed) Green. She was employed as an Assembler at Hegins Precision Division of Penn Reel Hegins, Pa for 27 years. She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins, Pa, where she served on the Church Council and the Alter Guild. Surviving are her husband Eugene "Pete" L Herb to whom she was married for 45 years Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters Vicki L Otto and Cheryl A Daubenspeck both of Hegins, Pa; a son Bradd A Herb, of Halifax, Pa., 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Chris L Herb who died in 1972 and by a brother William R Green who died in 1981 Funeral services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, Pa. at 11 A.M. on Monday, November 15th, 2004, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating. Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery Hegins, Pa.. A viewing was held on Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home.
