Mildred A. Harner's Obituary
Mildred A. Harner, 98, of Harrisburg, formerly of Honeymoon Trail, Lykens Township, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born on Saturday, February 13, 1926, in Hebe, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Katie Deppen Shaffer.
She was a member of Pine Creek United Methodist Church, Spring Glen. Mildred worked at Blyler Fruit Farm, Spring Glen for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Ray Harner, son, Larry Harner; four sisters Fern Reeder, Erma Strohecker, Mable Adams, and Annabelle Wer; and a brother, Ray Shaffer,
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Harner of Bel Air, MD and Randy Harner, four grandchildren; Tammy Dippery, Carol Harner, Melissa Hora, Joel Harner; three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax April 26, 2024 at 11:00am.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
