Michael K. Trone, age 70 of Newport, PA, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026 at UPMC Westshore Hospital - Mechanicsburg, PA.

He was born on March 17, 1956, in York, a son of the late John Trone and late Barbara (Geubtner) Trone.

Michael had a lifelong love of classic cars, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and NASCAR racing. He enjoyed the beauty and history of old cars, the freedom of the open road, and the excitement of watching his favorite drivers compete on the racetrack. These interests brought him great joy and were an important part of who he was.

Michael was a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 177 and the Millerstown Moose Lodge 925.

He was a tractor trailer mechanic at Stroehmann Bakeries (Bimbo Bakery) in Harrisburg, PA.

In addition to his parents was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Teresa Serucsak.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Leah (Sweigard) Trone; his two stepchildren, Janella Serucsak (Delmar), and Christine Reed (Tony); his three step-grandchildren: Ashley Hannon (Matthew), Rylee Reed (Andrew), and Cody Serucsak; his three step-great grandchildren; his three siblings; Linda Brown (Lou), Nancy Ahrens (Robert), John Trone (Donna) and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at St. Peters Cemetery, Halifax, PA on Friday, October 30, 2026, starting at 12:30 p.m., with Pastor Suzanne Rider officiating.

Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Halifax.
