Maude May Morgan, age 90, of N Goodspring Rd, Hegins, Pa, died Tuesday, July 20,2004, at her home. She was born in Porter Twp, Schuylkill County, Pa., on September 10, 1913, a daughter of the late James and Florence (Hatter) Adams. She was a retired seamstress from area garment factories. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Her husband Ralph T. Morgan died in 1982. Surviving are a step son Theodore Morgan of Donaldson; two sisters Helen Hudsinus and Verna Adams, both of New Jersey; five grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter June M Soriano. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2004, at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, Pa, with the Rev. George Reynolds officiating. A viewing was held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial was made in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City, Pa. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 W Main St, Valley View, Pa, was in charge of arrangements.
