Mary E Klinger, age 77, of Hegins, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at her daughter's home in Hegins..
She was born on Saturday, July 5, 1947, in Tower City, a daughter of the late Richard L Gilbert and the late Eleanor M (Miller) Gilbert.
She was a graduate of the former Wiconisco High School.
She was a seamstress in area garment factories and later worked for Huntzinger Farms, prior to her retirement.
Mary loved shopping, dining at Pine Creek Restaurant, and spending time with her family.
Her husband, Gary G Klinger, Sr, passed away in 2023.
She is survived by a son, Gary G Klinger, Jr. and his companion Elaine Evans of Girardville; a daughter, Karen L Carl and her husband Brad of Hegins; seven grandchildren, Mikayla Spatzer, Wyatt Klinger, Zackery Dietrich, Cheyenne Klinger, Ben Klinger, John Klinger, and Ryder Carl; and a step grandson, Brenden Carl.
Following Mary's wishes there will be no services.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
