Mary Jane Header's Obituary
Mary Jane Header, age 74, of Malvern, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on Saturday, December 9, 1939, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Alvin and Katherine Berry Miller.
She was a 1957 graduate of Cannonsburg High School and a 1959 graduate of the Business Training College of Pittsburgh.
She was a secretary for a medical office and a homemaker.
She attended Trinity Assembly of God, West Chester.
Her husband Rev Harold S Header passed away in 2012.
She is survived by three sons, Timothy Header and his wife Anne Marie of Tamworth, NH, Daniel Header of Dresden, ME, and Jamie Header and his wife Michele of Portland, ME; two daughters, Beth Rottrup and her husband David of Spokane, WA, Rebecca Hopkins and her husband Eaton of Malvern; nine grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Stafford of Nashua, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Barry Salem United Methodist Church, Weishample, on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 3:00 pm, with Jimmy Smuda officiating.
A viewing was held from 2:30pm to 3 pm on Thursday at the church.
Burial was made in Salem Cemetery, Ashland.
Memorial contributions can be made to Teen Challenge Pennsylvania, 33 Teen Challenge Road, Rehrersburg PA 19550.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
