Mary Ellen Gaestel, age 70, of Aberdeen, NJ, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel NJ.
She was born on Monday, November 6, 1950, in New Brunswick, NJ, a daughter of the late John W Schrope and the late Ellen M (Klouser) Schrope.
She is survived by her husband Robert A Gaestel.
She is also survived by a brother, Thomas J Schrope of Vestavia Hills, AL; and a sister, Dr Beth A Schrope, MD and her husband Arie Naim of Englewood, NJ; .
Private graveside services will be held at Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
