Mary T Buffington, age 55, of 380 Marshall Drive, Orwigsburg, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Reading.

She was born on Friday, June 26, 1959, in Bryn Mawr, a daughter of Mary Baxter Donnelly of King of Prussia and the late Thomas J Donnelly.

She was a 1977 graduate of Archbishop John Carroll High School, Radnor and attended Shippensburg State College.

She was a Senior Vice President for Fulton Bank, Wyomissing.

She was the past president of the Berks County Bankers Association.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was always the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by her father and by a sister, Carol Minguez.

She is survived by her husband Blake R Buffington, to whom she was married for 36 years.

She is also survived by a son, Michael R Buffington and his wife Suzie of Northampton; a daughter, Julie T Banks and her husband Tim of Monroeville; a grandson, Luke James Buffington; five brothers, Thomas Donnelly, Jr, Timothy Donnelly, Michael Donnelly, Francis Donnelly, and Joseph Donnelly; and by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass was held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 201 Randel Street, Schuylkill Haven, on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 10:30 am, with Msgr. Edward Zemanic officiating.

Visitation was held from 9:00 am to 10:15 am on Thursday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
