Mary A Miller, age 93, of Hegins, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Schuylkill Medical Center- E Norwegian, Pottsville.

She was born on Sunday, February 19, 1922, in Hegins, a daughter of the late Harvey V Huntzinger and the late Katie Maus Huntzinger.

She had worked in area garment factories prior to her retirement.

She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins.

Mary enjoyed traveling with her sisters and friends and also liked to garden, sew, and crochet in her younger years.

Her husband Clervin L Miller, passed away in 1983. She was also preceded in death by two daughters Gloria A Starr and Isabel "Chubby" Schwartz; by three brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda J Todd and her husband Bob of Curwensville, and Mary Alice Unger and her husband Maynard of Norristown; a son, Randy C Miller and his wife Sheree of Hegins; by ten grandchildren Ashley Miller, Greg Unger, Pam Golaszewski, Holly Martin, Kevin Schadel, Jeff Schwartz, Jennifer Bordner, Terrie Ann McCoy, Bonnie Stoner, and Scott Scheib; and by several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating.

A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
