Marvin Robert Lettich , age 81, of 109 W. Maple St, Valley View, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at his residence. He was born on Thursday, December 25, 1930, in Sacramento, PA, a son of the late Ray and Erma "Irene" (Wetzel) Lettich. He attended Hubley Township High School and was employed by Mrs. Smith Pies as a cross country truck driver for many years. He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. He was also a member of the Case Knife Collectors, the Zippo Lighters Collectors, the National Rifle Association and was president of Areo Bats RC Plane group of Sacramento. He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Sue Lettich, a son Rahn Lettich and a brother, Harlan Lettich. He is survived by his wife Doris (Moyer) Lettich, to whom he was married for 61 years. He is also survived by two sons Randy Lettich and his wife Sue of Valley View, and Rick Lettich and his wife Kristy of Valley View; a daughter Rini Wiest and her husband Eric of Hegins; nine grandchildren Robin Lettich, Ryan Letich, Randy Lettich, Ashley Lettich, Jason Lettich, Jeremy Lettich, Logan Wiest, Alaina Wiest, and Kendra Wiest; three great-grandchildren Radley Lettich, Rayce Lettich, and Cartie Wiest. Memorial Services were held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Duane Bardo officiating. Visitation was held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday at the church. Burial will be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery at a later date.
