Martha E. Lenker, age 100, of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, formerly of Shermansdale and Rife, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, January 7th, 2006 at The Manor at Susquehanna Village. She was born in Upper Paxton Twp on September 22, 1905, a daughter of the late Alvin and Laura (Lebo) Lenker. She was a self employed Housekeeper until her retirement. She was a life member of David's Church, Killinger. She was also a former member of the Shermansdale Senior Citizens. Martha was known for doing beautiful needlework, including tatting, crocheting, and knitting. Surviving are a niece Dorothy Williams, Elizabethville; three nephews Richard Lenker, Palm Desert, Calif., Donald Neagley, Elizabethville, and Roy Neagley, Gratz. Memorial Services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, at the chapel of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, with Rev. Gary Becker officiating. Burial was made in Zion Cemetery, Rife, Pa In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Martha's memory to David's Church, 1052 Rt. 25, Millersburg PA 17061.
