Marlin D Daniel, age 71, of 1527 W Main Street, Valley View, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born on Saturday, November 9, 1940, in Valley View, a son of Marie M Artz, Valley View, and the late Darvin I Daniel. He was a 1958 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a graduate of the Pottsville School of Nursing. He served in the US Army. He was a registered nurse at the Selinsgrove Center prior to his retirement. He was a member, president of the board, and decon of the Lykens Valley Bible Church, Lykens. He was also a member of Fidler's Run Sportsmen's Association and the NRA. Marlin enjoyed automobiles, guns, and studying the bible. He is survived by his wife Cathy C (Christ) Daniel, to whom he was married for 22 years and his mother Marie M Artz, Valley View. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
