Mark H. "Spike" Minnich, age 84, of 614 E. Main Street, Hegins, died Wednesday, August 31st, 2005 at Good Samaritan Reg. Med. Cen., Pottsville. He was born in Hegins, on April 20, 1921, a son of the late Albert H. and Susie (Stutzman) Minnich. He was a 1938 graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School. He was a Naval veteran of WWII. He was a member of VFW Post 8237 and American Legion Post 575 both of Valley View, and the Hegins Fire Company. He was a member of Friedens UCC Church, Hegins; Surviving are his wife Alma B. (Clark) Minnich, to whom he was married for 65 years Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Robert L , husband of Sandy Minnich, Douglassville, Pa; one grandson Barry L Minnich, Douglassville, Pa; one granddaughter Donna L Duncan, Wilmington, NC. : and 2 great grandchildren Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
