Marion L. Mattern, age 85, of The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, formerly of Valley View died Friday, January 13th, 2006 at The Manor at Susquehanna Village. She was born in Hubley Twp, Schuylkill County, on June 25, 1920, a daughter of the late Roy T. and Vesta (Stiely) Koppenhaver. She retired as a trimmer for the former Valley View Enterprises. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. Her husband Albert L Mattern died in 1984. She is survived by four sons Robert R husband of Elizabeth Mattern, Elizabethville, Richard D husband of Carol Mattern, Elizabethville, Daniel W husband of Janet Mattern, Gettysburg, and Gerald L husband of Melody Mattern, Valley View; by 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Ann Mattern. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18th, with Rev.
