Marilyn Irene Atemboski, age 66, of 1122 W Main Street, Valley View, Pa, formerly of Seattle, Washington, died Tuesday, January 11th, 2005 at Ashland Regional Medical Center, Fountain Springs, Pa. She was born in Burlington, Wash. on May 5, 1938, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Shirley Virginia (Metcalf) Mumford. She retired as a purchasing agent at Boeing Aircraft Seattle, Washington. She was graduate of Sedro Wooley High School, Sedro Wooley, Wash. She also attended business school in Seattle Washington. Surviving are her husband Roy V Atemboski to whom she was married for 47 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son Alan R husband of Christine Atemboski, Renton, Wash.; two daughters Virginia I wife of James Norris, Granbury, Texas and Karin L wife of Bernard Spece, Jr., Hegins, Pa; five grandchildren Austin Atemboski, Michael Norris, Crystal Norris, Robert Norris, and Rachel Spece; and one sister E. Marlene Rice, Fort Worth Texas. She was preceded in death by a son Roy V. Atemboski, Jr. Religious Services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, Pa. at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2005, with The Rev. William Nahn officiating. A viewing was held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 15 at the funeral home Burial was at the convenience of the family in Buckley Cemetery, Buckley, Washington. The family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
