Mirian E. Schrawder, age 81, of Spring Glen, Pa., died Tuesday, August 8th, 2006, at Tremont Nursing Home, Tremont, Pa. She was born in Hegins, on September 13, 1924, of the late Samuel and Gussie (Herb) Blyler. Until retiring she was employed as a seamstres for the former Hegins Manufacturing Co. She was a member of the Church of God of Valley View, and a graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School, class of 1942 She is survived by her husband Albert L. Schrawder, to whom she was married for 57 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters Beverly, wife of Stephen Klinger of Valley View, and Rachel Frederick of Allentown; three granddaughters, Danielle, Erika, and Kennedy; and two sisters Jeanne Schrope of Pine Grove and Janice Blyler of Valley View Funeral services were held from the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley VIew, at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 12th, 2006, with Rev. Gerald Frey officiating A viewing was held from 10 to 11:30 AM Saturday at the funeral home Burial was made in the Church of God Cemetery, Valley View, Pa.
